Mt. Etna erupted last night and caused a lighting rod of bright glows throughout the night.  It is located on the island of Cicely in Italy.  It doesn't have the reputation of Mt. Vesuvius, but it still, neverthless, put on a spectacular show.  The volcano is not considered dangerous and stays consistantly active.

Fashion Week New York 2012 off with a bang as a sexy group of ladies walk the runway in "The Heart Truth Red Dress Collection Fashion Show".  The line up for the runway walk included Christie Brinkley, looking fab at 58, Minka Kelly, and Chaka Khan, just to name a few.  All of the celebrities strutted down the run way for a good cause, to raise awareness about women's heart health.  What a great way to kick off Fashion Week New York Style.

Breaking News: Sad to report to his legions of fans, Chad Ochocinco is officially dropping 'Ochocinco'. 

 

 Apparenty, he doesn't want his soon to be wife, Evelyn Losada, to have a made up last name.  

 

He plans on doing this before thier July 2012 scheduled wedding set in the sunny state of Florida.

 

His name will officially be Chad Johnson.

In some good news, Neo's fiance has adopted 48 African children.  Not literally, she has agreed to pay for the care of the children in Swaziland for a year which costs around $20,000

Chanita Foster of 'Football Wives' founded a charity that helps for the care of children in Swaziland and she contacted Monyetta about sponsoring some children.

 

Monyetta happily agreed!

Halle Berry: Good News Bad News?

 

Per TMZ, There is some really good news for Halle Berry!!   Turns out she is engaged to beau Oliver Martinez. Halle is asking the courts to allow her to move to France.

 

For the bad news, Halle's safety is at risk.  Turns out that Halle has two known stalkers.  One stalker, Robert Hoskins escaped from a mental asylum about a week ago and has made threats against the actress' life stating he would "slit her throat".

The other stalker just recently got released from the pokey!

 

She feels staying put in L.A. is a danger to her life and Nahla's safety so she is asking to be allowed to move not in retaliation to Gabriel but for she and her daughter's safety.  A hearing is pending for a judge to render a decision.

 

Update: The stalker who espcaped that has threatned Halle's Life has been apprehended Friday and returned to the Mental Hospital in Norwalk.  He was considered "highly psychotic" &  extremely violent.

JCPenny's Sticks It to Anti-Gay Group: We Keepin Ellen

If you haven't heard, a group called Onemillionmoms.com, a division of The American Association, launched a campaign against JCPenny's for making Elle Degeneres their spokesperson.  They wanted to get Ellen canned because she is a lesbian.

 

JCPenny ultimately stuck by her with the CEO saying "I think Ellen is someone we all trust. She's lovable, likable, honest and funny, but at her soul, we trust her," he said.

 

Last week, a JC Penney spokesperson said in an e-mail to Reuters that the company "stands behind its partnership" with DeGeneres.

 

Thankful for all the support, Ellen publically thanked everyone on her show saying:

 

"They wanted to get me fired, and I'm proud and happy to say that JCPenney stuck by their decision to make me their spokesperson," she says. "Which is great news for me because I also need some new crew socks.

 Chun Chun sets a New World Record: Heaviest Baby: Largest Baby Born In China

 

World Records are made to be broken.  Chun Chun has set a new world record in China.  Chun Chun, is a new baby, who was born to mother,Wang Yujuan in Xinxiang, setting the world record for the biggest baby born in China, Times of India Reports.  He weighed a whooping 15.5lbs at birth beating out other records previously set.

 

 The 29-year-old mother said she felt something different with this pregnancy than with her first pregnancy of now 6-year-old daughter who weighed 8.8 lbs at birth.

 

"I clearly felt that my body was more clumsy than when I had been pregnant with my daughter. My belly was bigger than it was then," "I guessed the baby would be between ten and 11 pounds. I never expected to hear that he weighs 15.5 pounds.

 

Chun Chun was born by Caesaerean section on Saturday!
