According to TMZ, Russell Brand is not out of the woods yet for snatching and tossing an IPhone from paparazzi on Monday in New Orleans. According to the New Orleans PD, a misdemeanor warrant was issued for Brand last night.
According to a tweet from Brand earlier yesterday, he did it as a tribute to the late Steve Jobs.
Update 3/15/12: Brand turned himself in to authorities and has been released
