Mark Cuban Lamar Odom DALLAS MAVERICKS NO MORE
Lamar Odom will no longer play for the Dallas Mavericks. After recently being traded from the L.A. Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks, Lamar has put up some of the worst numbers of his career and essentially has been lacking focus. In a statement Odom told ESPN.com says:
"The Mavericks and I have mutually agreed that it's in the best interest of both parties for me to step away from the team." He continued, "I'm sorry that things didn't work out better for both of us, but I wish the Mavs' organization, my teammates and Dallas fans nothing but continued success in the defense of their championship."
Lamar will be listed as inactive for the remainder of the season. This will open the door for a possible trade after the season. The Dallas Mavericks is owned by Mark Cuban.
