American Idol: Jessica Sanchez Wants TO TELL YOU Something

 

 

Jessica Sanchez has proven that she is a little lady that packs a "big punch".  The contestants performed two songs each, but it was her rendition of Jennifer Holiday's "And I Am Telling You" that solidified that she should be in the competition.  She put all of her heart and emotion into the song and used her powerful voice!  She recieved a standing O from the judges with them saying:

 

Randy: “I don’t what is going on tonight, but you guys are really in it to win it. This is one of the hardest songs to sing, you are phenomenal, another great performance”. Jennifer: “It seems like it’s going to be a real race to the finish, there is nothing else to say, your vocal ability is not something you see every day, it was a real moment”. Steven: “Another winning performance, just over the top”.

H & M is in a bit of hot water over their current ads in Europe. In ads that have been appearing in Europe and on their site, the model is heavily tanned.  The ads are not sitting well with doctors in the U.K.  DailyMail reports doctors are criticizing the company for promoting a heavily tanned model, which may lead some to think they can achieve the look by laying out in the sun or tanning heavily.

 

 Dr. Ralph Braun, from the Early Skin Cancer Centre at Zurich University Hospital, said: "I find this advertisement very alarming and borderline.'

"Many people, especially the young, will try to emulate this and will try to be just as brown, although with some skin types this is just not possible."

 

 

H & M defended the campaign to the Swiss press by stating they used a darker model to best feature the strong colors on sale this season.

A 5-foot 250lbs dolphin that was seen circling in the shallow waters of Bolsa Chica April 27 has returned to the ocean.  Marine specialist Peter Wallerstein says a volunteer watched the dolphin leave the Bolsa Chica wetlands.  Hours after the dolphin appeared, it was coaxed back to the ocean but then became spooked by other dolphins and swam back to the channel.  The dolphin finally left and experts believe it will do well.

All you peep who thought you may have a shot at a chance with 39-year-old Columbian beauty, Sofia Vergara,….you may have a shot.  NY Post is reporting that she and her boyfriend of 2-years, Nick Loeb may be over.  They reveal:

“Sofia was confiding in friends at the ball that she and Nick have split. They have been fighting a lot recently and have been on the brink of splitting many times. It is not yet clear if they are over for good, but they are done as a couple for now.”

 

Sofia's growing popularity and sex appeal may have crushed the relationship.

Randy Jackson Calls BS on Michael Jackson Bodyguard Claims

 

 

Randy Jackson says the story that a former bodyguard who made the claim that Michael Jackson once ordered him shot is total BS.  Former British Bodyguard for Michael, Matt Fiddes, told The Sun UK that in the past Michael and his brothers were in a "war" for years.  He claimed the brothers were desperate to get Michael to sign a $500 million dollar reunion tour deal.  He also claimed things reached a head when Randy tried to force his way in past bodyguards at one of the houses MJ was renting at the time adding MJ was on drugs and ordered Randy shot.  He says he didn't think Michael wanted him killed just ordered to shot him in the leg.  

 

A rep for Randy has said it is the untrue and  "There's no way in the world that this actually happened." They also added that the Jackson family is choosing to ignore Fiddes because "its a non-issue".

Famed Hair Stylist VIDAL SASSOON Has Passed Away at 94

 

 

 

 

Famed hair stylist Vidal Sassoon has passed away at his home in Mulholland Drive in Hollywood with his family by his side.  He has had a long battle with leukemia, which he was reportedly diagnosed with in 2009.  Reports are saying that he died from an unspecified illness. Sassoon is credited with creating the famed "Bob" hairstyle.

Barack Obama: Yes! I Support Gay Marriage

 

 

 

For the first time in history, a sitting President has publically supported gay marriage.  In an interview with ABC News, Barack admitted that he thinks same sex couples should be able to marry.  He said:

 "I have to tell you that over the course of several years as I have talked to friends and family and neighbors when I think about members of my own staff who are in incredibly committed monogamous relationships, same-sex relationships, who are raising kids together, when I think about those soldiers or airmen or marines or sailors who are out there fighting on my behalf and yet feel constrained, even now that Don’t Ask Don’t Tell is gone, because they are not able to commit themselves in a marriage, at a certain point I’ve just concluded that for me personally it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same sex couples should be able to get married."

 

This comes days after Vice President Biden publically gave his support to gay marriage.
