Rapper Lil Boosie NOT GUILTY OF MURDER

 

 

Rapper Lil Boosie who is currently in jail on drug charges, but was found not guilty for the 09' shooting of a 35-year-old man.  The prosecution tried to argue that lyrics in one of his rap songs proved his role in the murder.  The jury deliberated for 90 minutes and ultimately found he was not guilty.  He could have faced up to life in prison.  He is still currently serving  years for drug charges.

A man who claims to be Stevie Wonder nephew has been charged with extortion.  He is said to have tried to extort the singer by saying he would go to the tabloids and say he was the product of an incestrous relationship between Stevie and his sister unless he gave him money. TMZ reports:

Jessica Simpson and hubby to be Eric Johnson are finally enjoying parenthood.  The couple welcomed their first child together, a little girl, May 1, 2012.  According to reports, Simpson will share the first photos of Maxwell Drew Johnson in People Magazine for an estimated $800,000.  Eight hundred thousand, is a drop in the bucket for the magazine, compared to the whopping $11,000,000 they reportedly shelled out for Brad and Angelina's twins.  Simpson is already rolling in billions of dollars from sales of her fashion line and is reportedly set to sign a deal estimated at  $4,000,000 with Weight Watchers.

Bobbi Kristina and Family Get a Lifetime Reality Show

 

 

Bobbi Kristina and the Houston Family have inked a deal to star in a reality Lifetime network called "The Houston Chronicles."  It will focus on Pat Houston, Whitney's sister-in-law/manager , Pat's daughter, Rayah, Whitney's brother, Gary and Whitney's mother Cissy.  The show will chronicle them trying to face life without Whitney Houston who was found dead in a hotel room early February 2012.  The show will also feature Dionne Warwick and CeCe Winans and show how they will help Bobbi Kristina navigate the world without her beloved mother.  Lifetime's EPV, Rob Sharenow, says of the show:

 

"In this series, the multi-generations of the Houston family will bravely reveal their lives as they bond together to heal, love, and grow."

Jennifer Hudson Finally Gets Justice For The Killing of Her Family

 

 

 

Justice for Jennifer Hudson's family came in the form of a guilty verdict today.   William Balfour, the man accused of killing Jennifer's mother, Darnell Donerson, brother, Jason Hudson, and nephew, Julian King, in 2008, received his fate in a Chicago court today.  A verdict was expected as early as Wednesday but the jury deliberated for two days and were stuck.  The judge told the jurors to continue to deliberate as he would not accept a hung jury.  After three days of deliberating, they concluded he was guilty.  William was accused of going into a rage after he thought Julia Hudson, Jennifer's sister, received a balloon gift from someone else and in a blind, jealous rage, killed three members of the Hudson family.   Balfour had plead not guilty and was charged with 1st degree murder. Jennifer was present when the verdict was read.

Joan Rivers and  50 Cent teamed up for a funny advertisement for his Street King energy drink.  Rivers comes into the gym and asks for a "hit" and he gives her an SK, which gives her a "boost of energy."  She then says "Woo! thats just what I needed," then she proceeds to stroke his chest.   50 Cent seems  stunned and tries to take off and Joan makes a b-line in front of him and tells him  "I've got the energy for you 5-0!' and asking if he is game!"
