Lebron James Will Receive His 3rd MVP Award
If you haven't already the news, Lebron James will be named this years 2012 MVP. An anonymous source told the AP that he will get the coveted award, which will put him in the company of other NBA Greats. The award is given to the NBA player who played the best B-Ball of the season. "The King" is winning the award for the 3rd time in four seasons which is a feat in itself. Other greats that have three or more MVP awards are Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul Jabar, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Wilt Chamberlain and Moses Malone.
James has said another MVP award would be great, but he has his eyes set on that NBA title. With all of his accomplishments in basketball, the NBA titlle has been the one that has eluded him since he began his NBA career. He has averaged 27.1 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 6.2 assists.
