How to Give Yourself A Fabulous Pedicure At Home

 

Getting pampered by going to a salon and getting a pedicure is definitely something that girls enjoy a lot. However, it also means having to shell out some of your hard earned cash because a trip to the salon for some pampering does not come for free. Plus, everyone does not have the time to spend hours inside a salon.

 

So what do you do? You definitely want to feel pretty, beautiful, and fabulous. The thing is, you have an option. You can do the pampering yourself. In fact, you can do your own fabulous pedicure at home. Giving yourself a pedicure is easy and it means not having to shell out a lot of money for this service.

 

 

Who says that you cannot have the same type of experience doing your own pedicure at home? Well, you can even make the whole atmosphere better. You can start by choosing some relaxing music that you love and have it playing as you prepare for your pedicure. Then you can light some of your scented candles while you prepare the things that you will need for your pedicure.

 

 

The first step is to soak your feet in some warm water. After a few minutes, start exfoliating them to remove hard, dead, skin. You can use a pumice stone if you have one at home. Spend more time rubbing the rough parts of your feet to make them smoother. After that, rinse your feet and soak them up again.

 

After five to ten minutes, dry your feet and clean up any cuticles left with a pusher and some cuticle remover. This will help you clean up your nails.

 

The next thing that you need to do is to trim your nails. The art to trimming nails is cutting them in a straight line. Cutting them around can make you end up with ingrown nails and that sure is something you want to avoid.

 

Once the toenails are trimmed, you can prepare to apply your chosen color. You can put on a base coat first and then let it dry for several minutes. After that, apply your chosen hue. Make sure that you apply two layers to make the color pop. Let it dry again and then add a top coat.

Eddie Murphy & Rosci Diaz were seen again at their favorite meeting spot Coffee Bean.  The pair had previously been photographed earlier in the week leaving Coffee Bean, which sparked rumors that the two were dating.  Eddie 51, Rosci 28, were seen canoodling and seemingly enjoying the day.  Rosci denied that the two were dating and said they were just friends. All this has been happening just off the heels of Rosci announing, along with Terrence J, that they would be leaving the show 106 & Park on BET.

Michael Ealy covers Upscale Magazine July 2012. Known for his stellar looks and gorgeous eyes, Michael gives off a charisma that makes him one of Hollywood's leading men.  In the magazine, Michael says he no longer dates "crazy women" or women who are in the same field as he:

 

Ealy take on why doesn't date women in the same field as he:

"I’ve been done with [dating industry women].  You do it for years and years and years—theater, television, film. It’s a workplace thing… But the difference for me now is that I’m mature enough to know that this is a work thing. The minute we stop production, I’m not going to feel this way anymore.”

Ealy on why he dated women who brought on the drama:

“I think there was a part of me that was just attracted to the crazy.  I tended to involve myself with women that brought drama. And I had a bit of a savior complex. I thought I could save them from whatever daddy issues or cheating issues [they had]. In the past, I was definitely known as a guy who took himself and his relationships a little too seriously. I won’t say that I always knew how to have a lot fun.”

Breaking News: Iconic Family Fued Host Richard Dawson Has Passed Away 

 

 

79-year-old Legendary host of Family Fued, Richard Dawson, has passed away from complications due to esophagal cancer, according to his son.  His son posted a message on Facebook:

 

It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my father passed away this evening from complications due to esophageal cancer. He was surrounded by his family. He was an amazing talent, a loving husband, a great dad, and a doting grandfather. He will be missed but always remembered…"

Dawson hosted "Feud" from 1976-1985, and then from 1994-1995. He was also famous for being a regular on "The Match Game" and for appearing in the classic Arnold Schwarzenegger action film "The Running Man."  One of his biggest roles — Dawson played Capt. Peter Newkirk on "Hogan's Heros," a wildly popular show in the 60's.

There has never been a question of Mitt Romney's wealth. He has been a succesful businessman and has never shied away from being proud of his success. Fox News Reports:

 

A new financial report from GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney shows that his personal fortune remains near $250 million, about the same as last year even after a mass sell-off of stocks from his vast investment portfolio. Romney’s campaign said Friday that his assets ranged between $190 million and $250 million, and a tally by The Associated Press put the figure at the high end of that range.

The new financial report from Romney describes sales over the past year of a large amount of stocks that had been managed through his blind trust. The stocks sold included such familiar corporate entities as Boeing, Volkswagen and Pepsico. The stock sales also included several notable firms whose interests had conflicted with Romney’s stances — among them China-based businesses Hang Lung and Komatsu. Romney has advocated toughened dealings with China’s government over its expanding economic interests.

Romney campaign spokeswoman Andrea Saul stressed Friday that the investment decisions for Romney and his wife, Ann, were made under a blind trust administered by a Boston-based lawyer who has long worked with Romney. “Governor and Mrs. Romney’s assets are managed on a blind basis,” Saul said. “They do not control the investment of these assets, which are under the control and overall management of a trustee.” In 2007 during his first presidential run, Romney had assured critics that the trustee, R. Bradford Malt, would see that his investments would not clash with his positions or Republican party stances. But the new 2012 disclosure — along with other Romney financial documents released earlier this year — showed that the Romneys held onto some of those investments well past 2007.

The annual financial disclosure report that Romney turned over Friday to the Federal Election Commission showed a slightly wider range — between $83 million and $255 million — than the narrower asset range released by the Romney campaign. A Romney campaign official who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the candidate’s finances said that the campaign’s figures were slightly more accurate because of differences in valuation. The new financial disclosure shows that even after his stock sales, Romney still made millions of dollars over the past year in lucrative bank notes and investment funds, including nearly 40 different funds associated with his former company, Bain Capital.

Trayvon Martin Updates: George Zimmerman Back In The Pokey

 

 

 

George Zimmerman had his bail revoked by the judge in Florida this past Friday and he was given 48 hours to turn himself into jail.  George Zimmeran's Legal Website Reports:

 

George Zimmerman has returned to Central Florida, arriving late Saturday evening. On Friday, June 1, the court revoked Mr. Zimmerman's bond, ordering him to return to custody within 48 hours. The defense team has coordinated with the Sanford Police Department to ensure Mr. Zimmerman's security when he turns himself in before today's 2:30 PM deadline.

While out on bond, Mr. Zimmerman has been living in a secure, undisclosed location as there are significant threats against his life.

Mr. Zimmerman's lawyers will request a new bond hearing where they can address the court's concerns regarding the representation of funds available at the time of the original hearing on April 20. The defense team hopes that Mr. Zimmerman's voluntary surrender to Sanford police will help demonstrate to the court that he is not a flight risk. Furthermore, the vast majority of the funds in question are in an independently managed trust, and neither Mr. Zimmerman or his attorneys have direct access to the money.

On May 8, Mr. Zimmerman waived his right to a speedy trial to allow the defense team the time needed to prepare for trial. It is anticipated, though not certain, that the case will not be ready for trial until some time into 2013, and the next bond hearing will determine whether Mr. Zimmerman will wait those many months in jail or not.
