Uggie The Dog: What a Way to Retire
Uggie cements His place in history as yesterday he was granted the honor of getting his paw prints cemented outside of Grauman's Theatre in Hollywood. He is the first dog in history to recieve the honor and is now officially retired from showbiz. Uggie, who was the star of the Oscar winning silent film "The Artist", celebrated by receiving a cake in the shape of a fire-hydrant and a golden bowtie. Councilman Tom Labonge declared it officially "Uggie Day." He was joined by puppies Lassie and Rin Tin Tin. Uggie is a 10-year-old Jack Russell Terrier.
