Katie Holmes covers Elle August 2012. She looks confident and bold as she poses in a Tom Ford tank and stretch trousers from her own line Holmes & Yang. What is really raising eyebrows is what she said in the interview. The 33-year-old actress was asked about Tom and she said:
"I definitely feel much more comfortable in my own skin," Holmes, 33, says of being in her thirties. "I feel sexier. I think in my twenties – it’s like you’re trying too hard to figure everything out…I’m starting to come into my own. It’s like a new phase."
“He has been Tom Cruise for 30 years, I know who I am and where I am and where I want to go, so I want to focus on that.
Keep in mind, Katie did this interview some weeks back as magazines generally do spreads and preparation weeks in advance. Katie also was asked whether being Mrs. Tom Cruise helped her in the industry. She replied that nothing isn't handed to you and if anything you have to work harder.
