Spike Lee Making Michael Jackson Documentary 

 

 

 

 

Director Spike Lee is doing a documentary on the late singer Michael Jackson.  It will focus on the singers Bad Album, tour, and the 25th release of the album. It will feature some of the who's who of music.  Spike said of the project:   

 

'I’m more than just a huge fan of Michael Jackson, and having the chance to actually know him and work with him, I deeply care about his legacy. 'With this 'Bad' project I was able to uncover just what made this such a huge, important coming of age in his career and unearth compelling stories surrounding the making of the album, the long awaited follow-up to 'Thriller' – the best selling album of all time – the short films and the tour that may have never seen the light of day.'

 

 

The interview will feature celebrities such as Kanye West, Mariah Carey,Cee Lo Green and Sheryl Crow.

According to UsWeekly, Sofia Vergara is now an engaged woman.  Her beau, Noel Loeb. is said to have popped the question to her while site seeing at the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza,  The Modern Family actress has been celebrating her 40th birthday .  She has been spotted wearing an engagement looking ring.

If You Haven't Heard of Jhene Aiko You Will 

 

 

You many not have heard of Jheno Aiko, but you will.  She is a talented singer/songwriter who has the looks of a supermodel, yet has a soulful voice.  The multi-talented, multi-ethnic songstress got her start at an early age when producer Chris Stokes heard her sing.  Aiko released a mixtape "Sailing Souls"  via her website jheneaiko.com on March 16 of last year.   She teamed up teamed up with producer, No I.D., who Vice President of A & R at Def Jam.  She has an album coming out called  "Souled Out", but it doesn't have a tentative release date yet.  Check out her Youtube Channel and her Tumblr Page.

Rihanna Still Mourning Grangrandolly's Death (Photos)

 

 

 

 

 

After Ri's grangrandolly lost her battle with cancer, Rihanna has continued to mourn her death.  She posted a photo of what her looking very somber with what appears to be a beer in her hands on her Twitter along with the tag:

 

 "I had to!!! Sorry granny."

 

She attended her grandmothers' funeral yesterday in Barbados, visibly upset. Rihanna continues to have a busy schedule as she is set to move to London for filming of her a new fashion show.
