Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Criticized Over Jewelry AD

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan looks stunning in adverts for Kalan jewelry.  She was once called "the most beautiful woman in the world" and lives up to the title.  She is pictured wrapped in a rich, golden fabric in one photo and pictured in a traditional Indian wedding dress in another.  After having a daughter last year, Aishwarya didn't get back to her previous weight and received relentless remarks from critics saying she was fat. Some went so far as to say she is a Bollywood actress and it was her duty to be "fit."  She has said in the past she just wants to enjoy motherhood and was in no rush to lose the extra baby weight.

With the recent campaign for the Kalan, some critics are saying the only reason she looks slim is because she was Photoshopped.  Photographer,  Kiran Deohans, defended the actress saying:

"Coming back post-delivery after months and shooting for this commercial, Aishwarya is still the same. She is a true professional and has the same passion for work."
