Rihanna Says She Still Loves Chris Brown 

Rihanna sat down in an interview with Oprah which aired last night on the OWN Network.  In the interview she was very open and honest and showed a rare, vulnerable side.  She even mentioned during the interview that she doesn't cry and it takes Oprah to make you cry.  She talked about fame, her dear gran gran dolly and her past and present relationship with Chris Brown.  In the interview she mentioned that she still loves Chris, he could be the love of her life, and after the brutal 2009 beating, she was still protective of him and worried about what people would think of him as the saga unfolded.  

She also has mentioned that they are working on their friendship and have built a trust.  She said it is awkward when she is around him because she still loves him.  She has received some backlash from abuse charities who say she could reduce the seriousness of abusive relationships.  So far, Chris has not made any comments.
