Aaliyah Album Cover Art
It's been over 11 years since the untimely death of the beloved singer Aaliyah. No music has been released since her death, but apparently her uncle, Barry Hankerson, owner of Blackground records teamed up with Drake to release a first posthumous album. He recently tweeted a photo of possible coverart for up and coming Aaliyah, which rapper/singer Drake is said to be an executive producer of.
Aaliyah's uncle has said the album will consist of 16 unreleased tracks that Drake and his team produced. Missy Elliot and Timbaland will not be participating on the album and have said they weren't notified a project was in the works. One song, "Enough Said", has already been released and features a small rap by Drake. There has been no official coveart or release date confirmed for the album, but they have confirmed that the album will happen. Drake has pronounced his profound love for the late singer, even though she never met him.
