We Remember: September 11, 2001

September 11, 2001

Today 11 years ago, America was attacked on our own soil as al-Queida Islamist conducted suicide missions and took over Flight 11 American Airlines and United Airlines Flight 175 and hit the Twin Towers in New York City.  This later led to both towers collapsing and killed thousands of civilians, civil servants and the hi-jackers.    Later that day, a commercial plane taken over by the hi-jackers, hit the Pentagon in Arlington, VA killing hundreds.  The 4th plane that was hi-jacked, which was believed to be headed towards the United States Capitol Building, was taken over by some of the brave passengers and was diverted and slammed into the ground.  It was a day that will forever live in American History and we will always remember!
