Christina Aguilera has never been one to shy away from pushing the envelope and she doesn't hold back for her new album cover Lotus.  She tweeted the photo for her album cover writing: "#Lotus Album Cover. Here it is! Album out Nov. 13 XoXtina."  In the photo, the 31-year-old singer emerges from a pink Lotus flower completely nude as a bright ray covers her private and long, flowy, blond hair cover her girls.  She told MTV News about the album:

"Lotus" is named for "the unbreakable flower … no matter the harshest of conditions, it still survives and it thrives through time," Xtina told MTV News. "I've already put out a greatest hits record, so I've been in this business for a while, and … I'm a risk taker, that's just who I am at heart. It's who I can't help but be. It's who I always am in nature, as a person and as an artist" .

The cover seems to have been influenced heavily by artist Botticelli's famous 1486 artwork, "The Birth of Venice".  Her artwork for the her first single off the album, "Your Body" has a similar theme as the cover for the album.  Are you looking forward to buying the singers latest music?
