Carrie Underwood News: WHAT STAYS IN VEGAS

Carrie Underwood News: WHAT STAYS IN VEGAS

Carrie Underwood has had a successful career as a country singer and her flame keeps getting hotter.  The country beauty covers Vegas Magazine April/May  edition and she talks about married life and life in the spotlight.  In the magazine, Carrie says her husband will not come with her on tour because he doesn't like being crammed on a tour bus.  She says of that:

‘We see each other as much as we can, but he’s not one for road life. He can’t really sleep on the bus. You can’t have a giant bed in the back, so I’m like, “You’re touching me! Go away. What are you doing? Scoot over!”

"He gets bored. I think if he ever comes out with us on tour for any length of time, I’m going to have to find him something to do!"

She also says she brings along her pups on the road and she also talked about her new song "Good Girl", which has entered the Billboard's Top 10 Country Singles Chart.

Of the song she says:

"Good Girl" is about that girl that you know or you have been—I know and I have been this girl before—and she’s got stars in her eyes and the guy isn’t good enough for her and doing Lord knows what behind her back, and she thinks the world of him. Love is blind, right?

The new album, Blown Away, goes on sale May 1, 2012.

In what is quickly becoming an seemigly intense standoff between the unlikliest pair, Maranda Lambert has targeted Chris Brown yet again.  After Chris' Grammy performances this past Sunday, Lambert took to twitter Monday and said:

"Chris Brown twice?"  I don't get it.  "He beat on a girl."  "Not cool, we act like that didn't happen."  "He needs to listen to Gunpowder and Lead and be put back in his place." "Not at the Grammy's".

This referenced her is an older single she sang about a woman preparing to kill an abusive preparing to kill her abusive husband.

Chris responded to the attack via Twitter saying:

"HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That's the ultimate F— OFF!" But the tweet was soon deleted, and replaced with, "I'M BACK SO WATCH MY BaCK as I walk away from all this negativity #teambreezygrammy," which now has also been deleted.

Lambert then took to the social media site again to respond to his tweets:

"You've got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything."

"Oh, one more thing for all who are asking…..I have a Grammy too".:)

Well, at her concert, she let the games begin again and she wanted to be sure to let the world know what she wanted to say:

“Get a good picture now, put it on Twitter,” she told the audience. “I’ve been in a world of hurt with Chris Brown fans lately… but see, I just have to speak my mind, because where I come from, beating up on a woman is never OK.”

As she begin to sing the song she continued "So that's why my daddy taught me early in life, how to shoot a shotgun."  The crowd loved it and went nuts!

Obama Cold As Ice To Iran

Obama Cold As Ice To Iran

Obama is trying to put the smack down on Iran.   Yesterday, He signed an executive order to freezing all properties of the Central Bank of Iran as well as all the property of the government of Iran making the sanctions against Iran more strict.  This is now putting more pressure on the Iraninan governemnt for their failure tomeet its international obligations.  The country of Iran has already been defiant especially on its "nuclear program".

This also was a sign to other banks that they may face further reprecusions should they do business with Iran.  This could cripple Iran's oil industry which is a major money-maker for the country. Most of the sales of their oil is processed by its Central Bank.  The country of Israel has suggested implementing possible air strikes against suspected nuclear site.

In a statement, the White House said the executive order “re-emphasizes this administration’s message to the government of Iran — it will face ever-increasing economic and diplomatic pressure until it addresses the international community’s well-founded and well-documented concerns regarding the nature of its nuclear program.”
