Lucas The Elephant Played In The Sand

 

 

Lucas, a baby elephant at the Toledo Zoo, had a blast enjoying his new sand stall at the Toledo Zoo.  He entertained himself by playing and rolling around in the sand. This facility allows elephants to enjoy dwellings similar to their habitat.

 

Elephants are known to have characteristics related to humans from the way they communicate even to the way they grieve.
