Did 'The Grill" Have an Attack of The Heart?
Imagine: A man goes into a restaurant called "The Hear Attack Grill" in Las Vegas. He orders the mother of all burgers, "The Triple By Pass".
The waitresses are dressed in scantily- clad nurses attire and the owner refers to himself as "Doctor Jon". The motto is "a Taste Worth Dying For".
The man who orders the burger then has a heart attack!
Sounds Like a Joke…Well it isn't
This happened this past Saturday when a 40-year-old customer went into the restaurant and ordered the sandwich. He then had a heart attack.
The owner says he knew something was wrong as the customer was shaking and sweating. The owner said:
His servers "nurses", his customers "patients" and orders "prescriptions" described the Saturday evening scene to Fox 5 news: "One of the nurses came back to me and said, 'Dr. Jon, we have a patient that's in trouble.'"
They offer the burger for free to people who are 350lbs. Paramedics were summoned and the man was carted off on an ambulance.
Some passersby thought it was a publicity stunt and snapped photos and snickered.
Talk about bad publicity and it came during American Heart Month.
The owner adds :"I don't know what to tell you," Basso said, shortly before he shooed away a representative of a well-known public relations firm. "We don't really want people to have a heart attack. I would be so happy to go out of business. That will be when the very last junk food addict decides to go straight.
