Kate Upton has snagged yet another Vogue cover this time British Vogue's 2013 January edition.  The blond has been ridiculed for not being the "typical" fashion model type, but is proving that she can make it with the best of them.  Getting any Vogue cover is considered to be monumental for any models career.  

 

The magazine's editor, Alexandra Shulman says that they wanted to choose a curvier model for the New Year.  She added they wanted to kick off the year with a young woman who isn't your "stereotypical fashion model."  Congrats to Kate for making strides for curvy models everywhere!

It's Official!  Kate Upton is now the new darling of the fashion industry.  She has fought tooth and nail to conform to the high fashion standards set so high for high fashion wome, bypassing criticizing of many of her weight and her looks.  She has done this by gradully getting covers after cover and now getting the coveted cover of Vogue Italia November 2012.  When you get covers like this, that means you are in.  Steven Miesel shots the beautiful, bold, yet seductive cover.  She is styled with  Fendi coat and and bustier by Patricia Fields.

Kate Upton lends her fashion services for the launch of CR Fashion Book, shot by Bruce Webber.  Kate is shown in various gowns posing as an "Earth Mother" with what she is best known for in full display.  She frolics with bunnies, babies, chicks, goats, puppies, and a man dressed as unicorn.  The theme is centered around "rebirth."  Carine Roitfeld, the creator of the magazine told the Daily Beast of Kate: "I wanted someone with a senual body, Someone who could be a mother to all babies."

Kate Upton gets spicy for a new photoshoot for Skull Candy.  In the pics, she poses playfully at the camera wearing the brands signature headgear.  The 20-year-old supermodel has been the true face of summer as she has been featured on numerous magazines, especially after being named Sports Ilustrated Magazine 2012 Covergirl.  She continues to put her curves on display despite the constant criticism of being to "big" for fashion modeling.  She has happily and openly stated that she is proud of her body and won't starve herself.

Kate Upton goes fully nude in Contributor Magazine.  Not shy to showing off her curves, the 20-year-old covers her most intimate parts as she is draped across a king-sized bed. She continues to prove nay-sayers wrong who say she is not supermodel material by going for more of the high-fashion, edgy looks.  In recent interviews, Kate has said she was told she was too fat for modeling when she got her start.  She became a Youtube sensation and her career really took off once she was name the 2012 Sports Illustrated Covergirl.  The clothes are by Guess Marciano Collection.  The sexy photoshoot was shot by Yu Tsai and took place in Los Angeles.

Kate Upton parodies Pamela Anderson days on Batwatch in outtakes from her GQ photoshoot.  The photos were taken by the very controversial photographer, Terry Richardson.    She didn't wear the iconic red bathing suit Pam wore, but she did pose with a orange floating device and seductive lifeguard stance.  Even thought the 20-year-old continues to climb the ranks of the modeling world, she has had her fair share of haters and some questioning whether she is too big for "fashion modeling."  Despite the mishaps, Kate continues to gain recognition and wants to be taken seriously in the fashion modeling industry.

Kate Gets Hate: Upton Gets MEAN REMARKS FROM SITE THAT SUPPORTS ANOREXIA

 

 

Kate Upton has taking the modeling world by storm, defying some critics who say she doesn't fit the persona of what a "fashion model" is.  Even with the criticism she has weathered the storm and still continues to get major covers and modeling jobs.  Not everyone is on the Kate bandwagon as a Pro-anorexia website, SkinnyGossip, has posted scathing comments about Upton.  A writer on the site says she looks "thick and vulgar."  They also go on to make comments like:

 

“Guess who?! Yes, it’s the lovely Kate Upton, confidently lumbering up a runway like there’s a buffet at the end of it,” the anonymous poster writes.

“She looks thick, vulgar, almost pornographic – and she is a solid Alba too heavy for this outfit."  

 

 

 

The write goes on to criticize Kate's Carl's JR. commercial, they said:

 

 

I thought cannibalism was illegal?!? If that’s not a very different species of cow, Kate could be in legal trouble!”
