It is safe to say that Kate Upton has achieved her wish of being "accepted" as a high-fashion equal in the fashion industry as she covers French Jalouse Magazine October 2012.  Kate didn't recieve a warm welcome from all the fashion world when some had previously said she didn't fit in with the fashion model mold and going even further to say she was to big for high fashion modeling.  Kate wore some high-fashion designs in the graceful and edgy shots from the likes of Dior, Prada, and Louis Vuitton.  The 20-year-old blond beauty is all-covered up which is especially different from her usual bikini-bare skin.  The article is entitled "Holy Kate" and she is aptly dubbed the "new Marilyn" for her girl next door vibe, blond hair, and killer curves.  They are referring to the 1950's iconic sex pin-up and actress blond bomb shell Marilyn Monroe.

Kate Upton gets spicy for a new photoshoot for Skull Candy.  In the pics, she poses playfully at the camera wearing the brands signature headgear.  The 20-year-old supermodel has been the true face of summer as she has been featured on numerous magazines, especially after being named Sports Ilustrated Magazine 2012 Covergirl.  She continues to put her curves on display despite the constant criticism of being to "big" for fashion modeling.  She has happily and openly stated that she is proud of her body and won't starve herself.

Kate Upton has come out swinging to people who criticize her for her weight.  Recently, someone made horrible comments via a pro-anorexia site calling her everything from a cow and saying she was fat.  Kate has simply laughed off all the hate.  According to The Sun she said:

 

“I’m not going to starve just to be thin. I want to enjoy life, and I can’t if I’m not eating and miserable." and her rep added, “It’s absurd. Kate is gorgeous and very healthy.”

Kate Gets Hate: Upton Gets MEAN REMARKS FROM SITE THAT SUPPORTS ANOREXIA

 

 

Kate Upton has taking the modeling world by storm, defying some critics who say she doesn't fit the persona of what a "fashion model" is.  Even with the criticism she has weathered the storm and still continues to get major covers and modeling jobs.  Not everyone is on the Kate bandwagon as a Pro-anorexia website, SkinnyGossip, has posted scathing comments about Upton.  A writer on the site says she looks "thick and vulgar."  They also go on to make comments like:

 

“Guess who?! Yes, it’s the lovely Kate Upton, confidently lumbering up a runway like there’s a buffet at the end of it,” the anonymous poster writes.

“She looks thick, vulgar, almost pornographic – and she is a solid Alba too heavy for this outfit."  

 

 

 

The write goes on to criticize Kate's Carl's JR. commercial, they said:

 

 

I thought cannibalism was illegal?!? If that’s not a very different species of cow, Kate could be in legal trouble!”

Kate Upton is featured in American Vogue July 2012.  It is no secret that she has been garnering lots of attention for her cleavage, but Kate wants to be excepted as a true "fashion model" in the fashion industry and wants to walk on prestigious, fashion runways.  She has been heavily criticized, especially by some at Victoria Secret as being to "curvy" for high fashion.  The director of Victoria Secret casting, Sophia Neophitou-Apostolou, back in February, went so far as to say you would never see Kate in a Victoria Secret Runway Show.  Kate is proving that she has what it takes to do high-fashion modeling as she is being featured in American Vogue dressed in high-fashion wear.

Kate is featured in fall-fashion items ranging from a $4,000 fur-trimmed coat by Michael Kors, $690 Hermes hat, & a blue $2,300 Altuzarra blazer and $1,700 skirt. Kate says of fashion modeling:

 "You look great wearing lots of weird expensive things at once" (high fashion modeling) as opposed to the type that says, "Isn't my rack SPLENDID?" 

 

Vogue contends:

The embracing of a voluptuous woman on a catwalk is not without precedent–curvaceous luminaries such as Miranda Kerr and Doutzen Kroes have managed to traverse the territory between Victoria's Secret Angeld and devilishly high-flying runways (Prada, Louis Buitton with ease.  Now it could well be Upton's turn.

Kate Upton Can NOW BE TRADED?

 

 

 

Kate Upton can now be traded.  She was named Sports Illustrated Cover Model 2012, been on various magazine covers, chosen as the Skull Candy spokesmodel and has made "The Cat Daddy" a household name.  The trading card will be a part of Topps’ 7th edition of Allen & Ginter’s World Champions baseball card set.  Kate was chosen as one of the non-baseball celebrities.  The cards will debut the week of July 11.

If you take Kate Upton and add Peter Cottontail you can get a very interesting mix of "sexy bunny".  Kate did a very adultish Easter holiday celebration for Love Magazine.  She hunted  for eggs in a "Peter Cottontail" theme.

 

Kate precedes to find Easter eggs from inside her bra, hop around like a bunny in lingerie.  It's a very grown up take on the holiday and isn't the magazine's first time doing something like this.  The mini-video was directed by Emily Weiss.
