On the effect of spending time in Nashville:
"I went to Nashville to officially record a gospel album, but I wound up with artists and composers of various other types of music far more secular, like country and folk. Every since her divorce from Russell Brand, Katy has been single and mingling, and some had been declaring her new boyfriend maybe model Baptiste Giabiconi. Katy Perry declared Wednesday night via twitter that she is 'single & satisfied': Katy tweeted:

The singer has been linked to the top male model at the moment over the past few weeks, leading to speculation that they were dating. Both Rihanna and now Katy Perry have both confirmed they will be collaborating musically in the future. Katy spoke about her and Rihanna's collaboration and she said she wanted it to be "iconic". She went on to use Beyonce and Shakira's 2007 collaboration "Beautiful Liar" as an example and said it would not stand the test of time. Yesterday, she did a cover of Jay-Z/Kanye's song "N!@gas In Paris" at UK's Radio 1 and afterwards explained that she and Rihanna had a great friendship and there has been so much build-up of their collaboration it has to be the best.
She asked "how disappointed would you be if that song came out and it wasn't that good?" She revealed that they were looking for "that special one" (song). She said she would rather the song be iconic and empowering rather than sexy like "Beautiful Liar". She did say that "Beautiful Liar" was a good song.
