Lady Gaga: INDONESIA A NO-GO

 

 

Lady Gaga is not feeling the love in Indonesia.  She had to cancel a concert that was scheduled for June 3, 2012 because she received death threats from an Islamic Group, the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI).  The group called her "the devils messenger."  Police also recommend she not receive a permit for the show.  More than 50,000+ fans had bought tickets to see her in concert, which would have been the largest concert for the Asian show on her tour.  The FPI were more than happy about her cancelling the concert and appeared to have celebrated.  Gaga's safety was considered in the cancelation along with that of the people who would have been attending the concert.

Lady GAGA Goes Bare

 

 

Even though Lady GaGa recently told Oprah in an interview she was going to lay-low from any media interviews, that hasn't stopped the singer from communicating with her fans via twitter.  The singer posted a picture of her face apparently without makeup and she looks like an ordinary girl-next-door.

 

This is a far-cry from her over the top onstage makeup and costumes.  It seems Gaga is going through a reinvention of herself.  Only time will tell but only on Gaga's terms.  BTW, her birthday is Wednesday!

Madonna Girl Gone Wild Video Starts Battle of GaGa Proportions?

 

 

 

 

Madonna's video for "Girl Gone Wild" premiered last night and it sparked a major battle of the fans of Madonna and Lady GaGa.  Some of Gaga's fans say Madonna copied Gaga's "Alejandro" video with the men dancing in heels.

 

Madonna fans, however, took up for the diva calling BS.  Some are saying Lady Gaga copied what Madge did in the 90's so if Madonna is copying anyone she is copying herself.  What do you think?  Can't we all just get along?
