Fireworks & Lightning At The Same Time

The 4th of July is always an amazing site near the Hudson River in New York.  Each year, the city delivers spectacular fireworks to thousands of people celebrating Independence Day.  A young 22-year-old, Michael Pescetti. watched the sites and caught a spectacular photo of lightning striking at the same time fireworks were going off.  The photo shows the sky lit by the fiery fireworks and just off in the distance a bright bot of lightning strikes across the sky.  The youth has been taking scenic photos as a recreation.

Amazing Lightning: Strike Over & Over in Albuquerque

Lightning can be scary, yet fascinating!  Lightning is said to not strike in the same place twice, but it can definitely strike in the same area.  In Albuquerque, New Mexico, a man had taken some of the most amazing lightning photos over an 11-minute lightning strike show.  Roch Hart, a retired officer & tour guide, was two miles away from where it took place taking the photos while on his roof.

He explained that he had to be very careful while taking the photos.  The lightning carried over a billion volts of power.  It is advised that you should seek shelter immediately when lightning strikes,  Is is responsible for an estimated 40 deaths each year in the U.S.
