Katie Holmes Faces of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics
Bobbi Brown is a make-up artist of mass-proportions and her brand has become so loved by her loyal customers and successful, that she has taken to hiring her first-ever celebrity spokesperson, which happens to be Katie Holmes. Katie looks stylish and pretty as a picture with loose curls, lightly-toned, fresh makeup and a dark, smoky eyes in the ad. They have just released the first of ad for the campaign!
Katie will also help design a capsule cosmetic line for the brand. Bobbi chose Katie personally and says she was looking for someone their customers could relate too, not neceessarily a celeb. Would you buy the cosmetics because of Katie's affiliation?

Back in June, the Kardashian sisters announced they would have a new cosmetic line coming this holiday season and Kim Kardashian posted the first promo pictures for the beauty line on her blog. She wrote:
These are the brand new promo shots for our makeup line, Khroma Beauty! I can’t wait to share all of our amazing new products with you guys. We’ve always wanted to release our own cosmetics line, so this is a dream come true. Our Lash Dash luxury lash collection will debut this holiday season, with more products coming in the new year.

Revlon Expressions Experiment–Take The Challenge
Today, it's all about women empowerment and self-expression. Everyday women are finding themselves and creating their own sense of self. The cosmetic giant Revlon is issuing a major Revlon Expression Experiment CHALLENGE to women all over the world. Revlon has been a major cosmetic conglomerate for many years and are challenging women to step outside their normal routine and try something bold, new, and different. Whatever your beauty regimen, there is something for you to challenge yourself. A part of this exciting experiment was to create different, unique looks using their Photostay & Colorstay Cosmetic products which include lipstick, nail polish, eyshadows and foundations.
We participated in the challenge and it was fab exciting and fun. We used Revlon Colorstay 565 Palette, Revlon Colorstay 540 Palette, and Revlon Color Burst Lip Gloss Fire Lipstick. Creating the eye shadow looks were the most fun, because adding pops of color can add depth and give you a boost of confidence.

Eye Shadow Challenge: The eye shadow challenge was created by first putting light primer on the eyes. Next the base colors were applied with a light brush, then the light color applied above the fold of the eye, then blended together. The lips were lined with a light red pencil and the Revlon Color Burst Lip Gloss Fire applied. The process didn't take a long time and it made us realize different looks we could try in future outings. Take the Challenge! The Kardashian Sisters MAKEUP THEIR OWN MAKE-UP
The Kardashian train keeps ticking as they have announced they will be launching their own make-up line. Kim,31, Kourtney, 33 & Khloe, 27 announced it will be called Khroma Beauty. It has a December release date and will be exclusively available at Ulta Stores. Kim says of the line:
I’ve been waiting forever to be able to tell you guys and I finally can… my sisters and I are launching our own makeup line!! We’ve teamed up with Boldface Licensing+Branding to create Khroma Beauty, our line which will feature all kinds of makeup products, from eyelashes to compacts and everything in between! We will be launching a special holiday collection featuring eyelashes, mascaras and Kardazzle Compacts this winter and then the full line will launch next year!!
The line will include false lashes, mascaras, and 'Kurve Compact' finishing powder, a pre-foundation treatment mask titled the Million Dollar Mask and an illuminator.
