Mariah Carey was announced as American Idol's newest judge on the panel just a few weeks ago. There were still questions about who else would join the panel and news broke yesterday that Nicki Minaj was in talks with the show to become a judge. Not everyone is thrilled about that decision, in particular: Mariah Carey. According to TMZ, Mariah was in the belief that she would be the only woman on the judges panel and Nicki is alot younger than Mariah, which adds more drama to the already tense situation. Mariah reportedly hung up the phone when she got word of the news. Thoughts?
42-year-old Mariah Carey has been in Europe doing some shows and she made some family time for her twins Monroe & Moroccan. Mariah and husband, Nick Cannon, posted some intimate family photos of the twins on their website looking ever so cute and enjoying the blessed life they have been given. Nick is in the U.S. filiming America's Got Talent.
Mariah Carey is in Morocco and performed at the 11th edition of the Mawazine International Music Festival. In the meantime, Mariah's sister, Alison Carey, is hoping to reconcile with her sister. She says they had a difficult childhood and she had aspirations to be a star, but the pain of her childhood pushed her into prostitution. She toldThe Sun:
“I want to reach out to my sister and tell her how much I miss her and how proud I am that we are family.
“We may be apart now, and it has been many years since we last spoke. But to me, despite all the bad times and the arguments, she will always be my baby sister.
“I still remember when she was a little girl — just as beautiful as she is now.
“It has been incredible watching Mariah grow and blossom into a successful, independent woman with the world at her feet.
“I cannot put into words how moved I was to see pictures of my niece and nephew for the first time. I saw photographs of them on the television just after they were born and I saw more when they turned one recently.
“They are absolutely adorable. And when I look into their eyes I see my sister’s eyes shining right back at me — the eyes I used to stare into when I would hold her as a baby.
“I am sure Mariah is going to be a fantastic mother and her husband Nick Cannon, who I’ve heard nothing but good things about, will be a great father.
“I just wish Mariah would let me be her sister again and a proper auntie to her children.
“I know we have had so many problems over the years, but I want to reach out to her in the hope that we can make peace and mend the wounds that have torn our family apart.”
Mariah's kids are already being flown to more countries that most people will in a lifetime and this won't be letting up anytime soon. Mariah took 13-month-old Moroccan and Monroe to the African country that inspired his name. She was seen arriving today in the city of Rugat. She and Nick were inspired to name Moroccan because Nick proposed to her in a Moroccan-style room. Monroe was name after Ms. Marilyn Monroe herself. Mariah posted on Facebook that her baby girl wasn't camera ready for their arrival at the airport.
Dem Babies, Moroccan and Monroe officially turned one Monday April 30, 2012. The proud parents Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon said they were going to do something special and indeed they did!
Dem Babies celebrated in true Mariah fashion, in The City of Light. The twins partied in style with mom, dad, and a few close friends at the Plaza Athenne. The party including everything a kid could ask for, balloons, confetti, toys, and some custom made French pastries.

Nick Cannon has release video number 5 of his NCredible Health Hustle journey. Nick finds out he has blood clots in his lungs and his wife Mariah Carey was right by his side when he received the news. Mariah gives her hubby a hug, showing her love, concern and support for him. It's official, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon say I Do, again! The couples first trip down the aisle was April 30,2008 in a private ceremony in the Bahamas. This year the couple decided to renew their wedding vows in Paris, France. Carey and Cannon also decided to share their love with their fans this time around.

The couple wore white for their ceremony, and Nick got down on one knee as they posed for some pictures. The couples backdrop in the photos is the fabulous Eiffel Tower. Monday, April 30, 2012, is officially the couples fourth wedding anniversary. Monday will also be "Dem Babies" first birthday. Mariah Tweeted:
Mariah Carey and hubby Nick Cannon are set to renew their wedding vows Friday April 27, 2012 in the Paris, France. The couple are celebrating their fourth anniversary by saying I do for the second time. Carey and Cannon had know each other for only a month before tying the knot in a secret ceremony in the Bahamas on April 30, 2008.
This time the couple plans on sharing their love with fans as they have invited press to capture their special moments. Cannon and Carey will meet media at La Maison Blanche Hotel after the ceremony. The couple will be celebrating more than the renewal of their vows. They will be celebrating Dem Babies birthday as well. Their twins, Moroccan and Monroe were born on the couples third wedding anniversary April 30, 2011. Nick told People Magazine:
"We're taking a break. It's going to be exciting. We're doing something special and something unique."
