Meagan Good GOT HITCHED 

 

 

It is official!  Actress Meagan Good is a married woman.  She and now husband, Sony Exec, DeVon Franklin were married in a private, lavish ceremony at the Triunfo Creek Winery in Malibu this past Saturday.  The ceremony included more than 400 guests and the likes of Tracey Edmond & Deion Sanders.  Meagan wore custom designed R-Mine gown with a purple-dipped train and walked down the aisle to "These Arms" performed by the Craig Lewis Band.  Singer Shanice sang "Loving You" at the reception.  They want to take the time to get to know each other first before having children.

Meagan Good ROLLS OUT

 

 

 

 

 

 30-year-old Meagan Good has officially taken Hollywood by storm.  She is currently starring in the #1 film "Think Like a Man".  She also recently got engaged to Sony Exec, DeVon  Franklin and will be starring in an NBC show this fall entitled "Notorious".  With all the success she is having, she found time out of her busy schedule to sit down and talk with Rolling Out Magazine about her Christian faith, her engagement, and her future endeavors such as her new music group, H.E.L.L.O.:

 

About her Singing Group:

Well, because of the purpose behind it. It wasn’t just four friends getting together to make songs. It was about four women coming together to make a movement, and to empower women everywhere to be respectful, while also commanding respect from others. This movement has been about us being Christians, but also being very unorthodox in our approach. It was about us being hippies, and being free-spirited in our approach. We are not about the church; we are about God’s kingdom, and being about His business. So we are really having fun with this, while making sure that there is an underlining note of positivity in everything that we do.

 

About her Christian Faith:

I don’t think that anything changed with me. I just think that there was a certain point in my career where people really weren’t listening to me because I was just getting started. But over time, as I started to get better and better, people got more interested in what I had to say. But if you go back and listen to interviews that I did in 2000 and 2001, you will see that I was saying a lot of the same things. It’s just a blessing now that people are listening as I try to share the love of God and empower young women. I really have the opportunity to make an impact, so I’m doing my best to make the most of it.

 

About her fiance: 

 

You know, I feel like I am happier than I have ever been. A big part of that is finding a partner who shares the same heart for God that I have, who walks down the same road as I, and who wants the same things in life that I do. I’m also happy that I found someone who understands what I do for a living, and wants to use that as a tool to help glorify God. It’s really nice … and I’m so very happy.

Meagan Good Has Become 'Notorious'?

 

 

 

Actress Meagan Good has scored a lead role in NBC's pilot Notorious. She will play a detective, Joanna Lacasto.  Her character will return to a rich, troubled family where she grew up as the housekeeper's daughter.  She will then go undercover to find out who killed her childhood friend, who is the daugther of the rich family who her mom worked for.  She will also be appearing in the up-and-coming movie Think Like A Man.
