Meagan Good GOT HITCHED 

 

 

It is official!  Actress Meagan Good is a married woman.  She and now husband, Sony Exec, DeVon Franklin were married in a private, lavish ceremony at the Triunfo Creek Winery in Malibu this past Saturday.  The ceremony included more than 400 guests and the likes of Tracey Edmond & Deion Sanders.  Meagan wore custom designed R-Mine gown with a purple-dipped train and walked down the aisle to "These Arms" performed by the Craig Lewis Band.  Singer Shanice sang "Loving You" at the reception.  They want to take the time to get to know each other first before having children.

Meagan Good TEASES ON A POLE

 

 

Meagan Good is about to become a married woman so she had to get one last hurrah out!.  She partied along with the Pussy Cat Dolls at The Gallery nightclub inside Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino last night.  Good showed up in a regal, white dress looking ever so lovely.  She posed with the members of the group along with the founder, Robin Antin.  Good says her husband, DeVon Franklin, who is a Sony Exec and devout 7th Day Adventist pastor, wasn't to thrilled when he found out about her plans for her bachelorette party.  She added though, he wanted her to be happy and do the things she wanted to do.  

 

Meagan has not publicly said the date of their up-and-coming nuptials, but she did say that it will be soon.  The pair are planning a twilight-themed wedding in Malibu.

Meagan Good has been having a tidal wave of great news and success  lately.  She recently got engaged to Sony Executive DeVon Franklin, is in the current #1 movie Think Like a Man and will be in a new NBC show this fall.  She is the cover girl for Fearless Magazine May 2012 edition.  The cover was shot in Los Angeles.  In the mag, she talks more in depth about her personal life, talking beauty, fashion, and more.  She also is a guest featured editor and talks in a short video about overcoming their fears. It will be available for download on May 1, 2012.

The Box Office 'Think Like A Man' This Weekend 

 

 

 

Think Like a Man overtook the box office this weekend over The Hunger Games this weekend.  The movie, which is based around Steve Harvey's Book Act Like a Lady, Think Like A Man made a cool $ 33 million dollars, which did better than expected.  The demographics for the movie were mostly African-American adult women 30+.  The movie was strategically promoted via Steve Harvey's Morning show, at black universities and on Black Entertainment Television.  The cast included:

 

Michael Ealy,  Kevin Hart,  Gabrielle Union,  Meagan Good,  Regina Hall, Jerry Ferrara, Taraji P. Henson,Terrence Jenkins,La La Anthony, Chris Brown,Wendy Williams.

Meagan Good Has Become 'Notorious'?

 

 

 

Actress Meagan Good has scored a lead role in NBC's pilot Notorious. She will play a detective, Joanna Lacasto.  Her character will return to a rich, troubled family where she grew up as the housekeeper's daughter.  She will then go undercover to find out who killed her childhood friend, who is the daugther of the rich family who her mom worked for.  She will also be appearing in the up-and-coming movie Think Like A Man.

Meagan Shows You Can Still Be Good in Hollywood

 

Meagan Good has been acting Hollywood since a young child.  Now the beautiful 30-something actress is about to star in the new movie "Think Like a Man".  

 

With all the stories about how Hollywood will eat you up if you let it, Meagan talked to and graced the cover of 'Vibe Vixen Digital Cover'.

 

She tells the mag:

"I learned that I need to keep my eye on the prize which is God and not worry so much about what other people think of me," said Good in the publication. "And if I keep my eye on the prize, people will think what they need to think of me, good or bad."

Good has undertaken multiple roles that showcase her sexuality. However, the actress said her choices in roles are a reflection of the gifts given to her by God.

"I believe that God has gifted me as an actress and intends for me to use that gift, but He also intends for me to use it to glorify him," Good said in the Vibe interview. "So, if I'm playing the most perfect, religious girl then nobody gets anything out of it. It's like being a Christian and only hanging out in church."
