Katie Holmesshows her chic side as she posed for C Magazine. Katie gave the interview just one day before the split between she and then husband Tom Cruise. The actress covers the magazine's September 2012 issue. She told the magazine:
"I'm ready to take on some more challenging roles," she told the magazine (via E! Online). "I feel like I worked so much at such a young age that I really wanted to have life experiences. I feel more balanced and like I have more to bring to the table. I always felt like I wanted to catch up [in my personal life] to what I was doing [in my career]."
The editor of the magazine says:
“Going back over the tapes, there were signs: Holmes was certainly very aware of herself, laying a couple cards on the table but never showing her whole hand,” McKinnon wrote. “Most noticeably, the one name decisively absent from her lexicon: Tom Cruise. She never actually refers to him by name over pages and pages of transcription.”

Kate Upton is managing to garner more controversy as a Catholic group is criticizing the makers of "The Three Stooges" because Kate plays "Sister Bernice" in the movie. She wears a small bathing suit, catholic headdress, and a cross necklace. The group, The Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights has accused 20th Fox Century of not imitating the original t.v series and being disrespectful to of its portrayal of Catholics, espcially nuns. He says its further proof of the growing hostility in Hollywood towards religion and Catholics.
A spokesman for the group, Bill Donahue, said in a statement:
In the 1950s, Hollywood generally avoided crude fare and was respectful of religion. Today it specializes in crudity and trashes Christianity, especially Catholicism. Enter the “The Three Stooges.” This movie is not just another remake: it is a cultural marker of sociological significance, and what it says about the way we’ve changed is not encouraging.
