Oprah Winfrey Talks 50 Shades of Gray

Oprah Winfrey is in the November 2012 issue of Harper's Bazaar where she talks about the steamy novels 50 Shades of Grey.  The media mogul says she downloaded all three parts in the trilogy and she can't get enough of it.  She added, she was thinking "Stop with the story, get to the juicy part!"  Oprah also adds that she loves creating a bathing experience!  She likes to make bath salts, crystals, gels etc. Oprah admitted that in the start of creating the OWN Network, it needed her.  She says it required her full energy which she wasn't able to give at first because she was still finishing up recording The Oprah Winfrey Show.  The network is getting into the swing of things attracting 3.5 million viewers.  She was photographed by famed photog Terry Richardson.

Oprah Gets Hot

 

Oprah is starring in a movie entitled "The Butler" and Monday she posted a risque photo of a shot of her and fellow actor Terrence Howard's love scene.  The photo is a far cry from the reserved Queen of Daytime!  The big O gets up close with Terrence as she channels her inner love goddess as she smokes a cigarette, striking a rather seductive position.  O definetely gets her O thang on!

Oprah Usher Interview

Oprah's interview with R & B singer Usher showed last night and Oprah asked some very private and intimate questions.  The most interesting question O asked him was whether he cheated on Tameka Raymond during their marriage.  The singer, admitted that he did indeed cheat by stating "When we were separated, 'yes I did."  He also talked about how there were some people who believed in the marriage and some didn't.  His mother was one of the ones who didn't.  Oprah even asked him if he's ever made love to his own music.  He replied "Some may say this is rather narcissistic, but yeah!"

 

The Custody Fight 

The same judge that awarded the singer full custody of the pair's two children, recently shot down Tameka's request for a retrial.  Tameka is still adamant that this will not stop her and plans to file appeal.  As for now, Usher says that the interview with Oprah will be the one and only time he will talk about Tameka and the custody issue.

 

 

Usher's relationship with his now ex-wife, Tameka Foster Raymond, has played out in the tabloids for years. In the summer of 2007, the couple made headlines when they called off their lavish wedding hours before the ceremony. A week later, they exchanged vows in the office of Usher's attorney. The marriage was short-lived, though, and they were divorced in 2009. Then, in August 2012, a judge awarded Usher primary custody of his two sons after a lengthy dispute. Now, for the first time, Usher shared why he had second thoughts about his marriage and opens up about his custody battle.

Mainstream: Oprah Will Appear on Keeping Up With the Kardashians

 

 

 

 

The Kardashians & Oprah Winfrey are becoming quaint.  Oprah signed a release will appear on an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.  A source told US Weekly Oprah:

 

“truly did bond with the Kardashians” when they taped their two-part appearance on Winfrey’s OWN network.  They added, “In particular she was intrigued by Kim and how she has expanded that Kardashian brand — both for herself and for the entire family.”

 

Oprah's representative has confirmed that she will indeed appear on an up-and-coming episode.

Kim Kardashian reveals more about her relationship with Kanye West on the second part of Oprah's Next Chapter.  Kim tells Oprah that she still wants her "forever."  Oprah asks the 31-year-old reality star if Kanye is her fairytale which she replies:

 

"I feel like I'm at a really happy, good space," she explains. "I don't know why it took so long for us to get together."

 

She also goes on to reveal that she and Kanye have lots in common, including the death of their parents.  The interview with Kim along with the rest of the Kardashian's will air June 24, 2012 at 8/7c.

Kim Kardashian Gets THE BIG O APPROVAL

 

 

It's no secret that Oprah interviewed the Kardashian family and Kim and the family has expressed their excitement over having the media mogul interview them.  Kim posted the above pic to her Instagram account. Kim tweeted earlier in the week:

 

"Ummmm no big deal Oprah just left my mom's house! #DreamComeTrue."

 

Oprah has been accused of stooping to low-levels and being desperate because of poor ratings for OWN Network. However, Oprah revealed she had never watched the show and got caught up with previous seasons of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.  She also revealed why she wanted to interview the family.  She said:

 

"I genuinely wanted to know why they have become a cultural phenomenon? Why do so many people love to watch their every move and why do so many others love to hate them. Are they completely ego centered? Are they really "famous for being famous" or is there something more?" She continued,  "This interview I'd say was another level of forthrightness and honesty.  Who surprised me the most?  Scott. Lamar and Khloe. Kim.  'Everyone who's asked was the marriage a publicity stunt? Why did she leave after 72 days?  Her answer leveled me."

Oprah & 50 Cent GET Acquainted

 

 

Oprah will be interviewing rapper 50 Cent on OWN Network on her show Oprah's Next Chapter.  The rapper is one of the most controversial rap figures today.  Many years ago, 50 and Oprah had beef because 50 thought that Oprah disliked hip-hop.  He even admitted he got a dog and named it Oprah, but he, now, says he loves Oprah.  She wrote on her Facebook and Twitter pages:

 

"In the car having just left Curtis Jackson aka 50 Cent. Gotta say, he was quite surprising. We talked for 2 hrs. You'll see Part 1 this Sunday. Here are 5 things I learned from Fiddy":

1. He meditates regularly.

2. Received his mantra from Deepak Chopra, whose book he's currently reading.

3. He was not allowed to use curse words in his grandmother's house and still follows that rule.

4. A recent conversation with philanthropist Ray Chambers was life changing for him.

And my favorite….

5. He believes either pray or worry…no need for both.
