Jackson Family Saga: Katherine Loses Custody of MJ's Kids

 

 

 

Katherine Jackson has temporarily lost custody of MJ's children.  The saga started when a family member reported Katherine missing a few days ago.  Randy, Janet, and Jermaine have been accused of "kidnapping Katherine" and keeping her from contact with MJ's kids and other members of the family, which Randy has denied.  It has deeply divided the family. TJ Jackson filed for temporary guardianship.  TMZ reports:

Breaking News: Michael Jackson Estate Seeking Guardianship of MJ's Kids

The estate of Michael Jackson will be filing for an emergency guardianship. TMZ reports:

 

The executors of Michael Jackson's estate will go to court to seek an emergency guardianship of Michael's 3 kids … alleging that Katherine has been effectively kidnapped by Michael's siblings and as a result his kids are in danger and without supervision. 

Sources very familiar with the situation tell TMZ … the executors feel responsible for protecting the kids … since the kids are the primary beneficiaries of their father's estate. 

As we previously reported, Katherine went off the radar more than a week ago leaving her grandkids behind as Janet, Jermaine, Randy, Rebbie and Tito executed a long-standing plan to convince Katherine that Michael's will was a fraud and the executors had to go. 

Sources tell us … this plan has been in the works for months, but here's the problem … Even if the will was invalidated, MJ's brothers and sisters would get zilch because the prior will also gives them nothing.

And, although we're told Randy wants to make a move to replace the executors, that would never happen. First of all, the executors will not be removed. And second, even if they were removed, the court would never appoint someone with no background in finances. 

We're told the executors are drafting the guardianship papers now and they expect to file in the probate court in the next few days.

 

Katherine Jackson's attorney alledges:

 

Katherine Jackson's legal team claims Michael Jackson's siblings have concocted a diabolical plot to remove Katherine from her home and her "beloved grandchildren" … and part of the plan involved ambushing MJ's children. 

Katherine's attorney released a statement saying, "Yesterday afternoon certain Jackson family members ambushed Katherine Jackson’s home after their vehicle tore through security gates on the tails of the SUV containing Michael Jackson’s children."

"After exiting their vehicles, Jackson family members ran up to Michael’s children as they yelled and began to aggressively grab at the cell phones in their hands. Out of concern for the well being of Prince, Paris, and Blanket Jackson, the children were forced to temporarily leave their home and taken to a safe location.  An altercation ensued shortly thereafter and law enforcement arrived at the scene."

The statement continues, "Following the incident, it was learned that one of the family members who was part of the ambush admitted that a plan has been in place for the last three years to remove Katherine Jackson from her home and her beloved grandchildren."

"Prince, Paris, and Blanket Jackson have not heard from their grandmother since she left their home nine days ago to attend a series of her sons’ concerts on their Unity Tour. She never made the shows. Despite efforts to interview Katherine Jackson at her current location in Arizona yesterday, Los Angeles County Sheriffs confirmed that they were denied access to Mrs. Jackson by security for one of her children. “

The Michael Jackson Estate has also released a statement saying, "We are acutely concerned about the welfare of Mrs. Jackson, and most particularly with Michael's minor children."

The statement continues, "We are concerned that we do what we can to protect them from undue influences, bullying, greed, and other unfortunate circumstances.  While we do not have standing to directly intervene, we have monitored the situation and will continue to do so.  We believe measures are being put in place that will help protect them from what they are having to deal with."

 

 

Update: TJ Jackson has a lawyer drafting papers to have seek temporary guardianship of Michaels three children.  They are supportive of this and the estate supports TJ as well.  It is believed Katherine has been kidnapped by some of the siblings and Kathie is the children legal guardian.  TJ is Tito's son and is married with children as well.  Tito has been supportive of the children since their father passed.

There has been some in-fighting going on in The Jackson Klan.  First, a scathing letter surfaced online last week, supposedly signed by Tito, Janet, Jermaine, ane Rebbie, accusing the executors of the estate of forgery, fraud, and abuse of their mother.  They also threatened legal action.  This is not the first time this issue arose.  A few days ago, Katherine Jackson was reported missing by her nephew with Paris Jackson taking to Twitter to confirm that her grandmother was missing and she hadn't spoken with her grandmother in a week.  The lead was investigated and it turns out Katherine was with Rebbie in Arizona and told detectives she was fine.  A pictured appeared online of her along with Rebbie and family.  

 

 

 

It has still bought up questions about who is watching Michael Jackson's children, because Katherine is their legal guardian.  Radaronline is reporting:

 

Jermaine, Randy and Janet Jackson have been barred from their mother Katherine's Calabasas home after attempting to remove their brother Michael's three children from the house on Monday, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

The situation adds to the ongoing drama with the Jackson family, as Katherine has been in Arizona for more than a week and hasn't spoken to her grandchildren, of whom she is the legal guardian. "It was just total chaos when Jermaine, Randy and Janet descended on the house.

"Randy was telling Prince Michael he had to leave with them and that he had a private jet chartered to take them all to Arizona to see Katherine. Prince firmly held his ground and told Randy he wasn't going anywhere with them. The security detail prevented the three of them from taking the kids out of state. The cops had to be called and Janet kept saying they had a legal right to be at the house when in fact they don't. The rental house is in the name of Michael Jackson's estate, so they were told to leave immediately. For the time being, they won't be allowed to come back to the rental house and guards at the security gate have been told under no circumstances are they to allow them in. Paris was absolutely hysterical and kept telling her uncles to just bring her grandmother home," a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com.

 

"The plan to take the kids out of the house was going to be a publicity stunt. The kids were going to be paraded into the house in Arizona where Katherine is staying and those photos would be published on a website favored by Randy Jackson."

As previously reported Janet was behind Katherine's removal from her home to Arizona, after becoming adamant that her mom needed bed rest and to be checked out by an independent doctor. And a source has revealed that Katherine is doing just fine.

 

"Katherine is very well,” a family member told RadarOnline.com. “Janet was behind the whole thing – she felt that Katherine needed medical help and was desperate for her to get some bed rest."

"Michael's children are being cared for by their nanny and legal options are being explored about ensuring their safety. The children are very, very smart and they are surrounded by excellent bodyguards that won't allow anything unsavory to happen to them. The kids just want their grandmother back, and want the family drama to end. Now that Paris and Prince are old enough, they understand why Michael didn't have much of a relationship with anyone in the family except for Katherine," the source says.

Today marks the 3rd anniversary of the death of singer Michael Jackson.  His daughter, Paris Jackson, tweeted photos today of her father, Michael Jackson, and mother, Debbie Rowe with the tag: "Mommy and Daddy! <3."  

 

She recently sat down with to speak with Oprah on Oprah's Next Chapter.  She said that dealing with her father's death doesn't get any easier and sometimes she is bullied in school because of who her father was.

Janet Jackson's is making headlines for what she told Prevention Magazine in its July 2012 issue. She talks about her new weight loss, but also warns her niece, Paris Jackson from acting while young.  Janet has always felt she was pushed into show business at a young age and she wants Paris' to wait before she pursues acting seriously while she is young.  Paris has landed a role in a movie called "Lundon's Bridge and the Three Keys."  Janet was not too happy that Paris wants to pursue acting at a young age. 

 

Janet tells the magazine:

"We've spoken about the fact that you're only a child once. I think there's a time for everything, and now is not the time [to act in films]," she told the magazine. "I told her I thought she should enjoy being a kid, possibly go to college — or not — but wait till she turns 18. She's a very tough, smart girl. But it's a cutthroat industry. I wouldn't want my child to do it."

 

When Janet learned that her niece had gotten the role, she told Access Hollywood:

"I got into the business at a young age. It’s not an easy thing." 'Your childhood, you completely lose [it] and I didn’t get to experience that, so she has the rest of her adult life to be that actress that she wants to be, and I told her that."

Michael Jackson's only daughter, Paris Jackson, is growing up right before out eyes.  She recently took to Instragram and posted pictures of herself and friends hanging out being typical teenagers.  There was one photo, in particular, that raised quite a few eyebrows.  It apparently was Paris in a revelaing bikini photo and she was told to take it down.  She hit back subliminally by  posting a message via twitter that said:

 

 "adults.. smh"

 

Whatever the case, she is getting older and begining to make her own decisions.

Michael Jackson Music Stolen From Sony

 

 

 

Michael Jackson's back catalog has reportedly been hacked and stolen out of Sony.  They took songs of Michael's and other unreleased songs the entertainer had completed.  The Daily Mail reports the hacker had downloaded more than 50,000 music files worth over $160 million.  Sony paid MJ's estate more than $200 million afther MJ's death to have the rights to release 10 new albums and material Michael produced during the making of some of his best-selling albums.
