29-year-old, Hollywood actress, Olivia Wilde covers Marie Claire April 2013 edition. She gets personal about her relationship with fiance, funnyman Jason Sudeikis, future children and being a humanitarian.  Olivia says it was love at first sight when she first met her beau.  She met him on the set of SNL in 2011.  She maintains that she and her ex-husband, Tao Ruspoli had drifted apart.

 

 

 

She said that she and Jason were seeing other people and were single at the time they met and she had an immediate attraction to him.  Even though she is revered for her beauty, she admits that she thought she wasn't beautiful enough for him or his type.  She says on their first date, he didn't kiss her and she was madly in love.   There are no plans for children right now, but she does want them, but says anything can happen!

Many things can come to mind when you hear the name Tina Turner…..superb entertainer, singer, legend, philanthropist, survivor, but now you can add Vogue covergirl.  The beautiful and timeless Tina covers Vogue Germany, shockingly for the first time in the magazines history.  With a career that some entertainers only dream of, one would think she would have the award for most covers in the magazines history.

 

The 73-year-old icon has also set a new record in the magazines history which was previously held by actress Meryl Streep as being the magazines oldest cover girl.  The gorgeous photos were shot by Claudia Knoepfel and Stefan Indlekofer.  Simple The Best!!!!!

For a model who didn't meet the standard height for a fashion model when she first hit the fashion scene, she has, perhaps, had a one of the greatest impacts on the industry.  To celebrate 20 years of Kate Moss and i-D Magazine collaborations, the magazine issues four different colors of the veteran model for their Alphabetical Issue.  She has appeared on the cover 13 times and was first featured in 1993.

 

 

The shots are by Daniele Duella and Iango Henzi and styled by Charlotte Stockdale.  Kate looks ever so bold, beautiful and like the fashion darling she has always been.  She just celebrated her 39th birthday and shows no signs of slowing down.    You will be able to check out new Spring/Summer looks for this season!

Shakira welcomed a new her new baby boy with fiance Gerard Pisque.  The baby weighed 6lbs 6oz., and was born in Barcelona Spain.  The happy mother posted on her website:

 

 

 

 

This is the first child for the couple and have been dating for two years.  Shakira is 35-year-old and Gerard is 25-years-old.  The couple decided to induce labor so he could be present for the birth.  He is a professional footballer.  Congratulations to the happy couple!

Bobbi Brown is a make-up artist of mass-proportions and her brand has become so loved by her loyal customers and successful, that she has taken to hiring her first-ever celebrity spokesperson, which happens to be Katie Holmes.  Katie looks stylish and pretty as a picture with loose curls, lightly-toned, fresh makeup and a dark, smoky eyes in the ad.  They have just  released the first of ad for the campaign!  

 

Katie will also help design a capsule cosmetic line for the brand.  Bobbi chose Katie personally and says she was looking for someone their customers could relate too, not neceessarily a celeb.  Would you buy the cosmetics because of Katie's affiliation?

Chris Brown and Rihanna caused a blogosphere stir today when they both arrived together at the L.A. Lakers vs. New York Knicks game at the Staples Center.  The pair have both denied being back together and aptly made a song about it anything they do together being nobody's business.  No matter what, though, when you are two of the biggest stars on the planet, the things you do and your relationship is sure to make headlines.

 

Rihanna was in Barbados and left and came to L.A. to be with Chris Brown.  Rihanna and Chris were both  laughing, getting cuddly, flirting, and sharing popcorn together as they watched the Lakers defeat the Knicks.

Color Rich Past

 

A young 18-year-old by the name of Mads Madsen began adding color to some of the most famous black-and-white photographs from the past.  When he first started using Photoshop to give color to the photos, he began with iconic Civil War photos but moved on to more recognizable figures like genius Albert Einstein, abolitionist, Frederick Douglas, actress, Elizabeth Taylor. 

 

The photos above shows just how skilled he is with adding the color to the photos.  Adding color gives a new life and mood to the pictures, that the otherwise black-and-white didn't.  He says it takes about 20 to 30 minutes to do each photo and uses Photoshop for the skin tone and likes to keep the vintage look and feel to the photos.  What do you think?
