The Dutch beauty quickly became an angel early on in her career even though she had never heard of the brand at the time.  She has done many campaigns for the like of Calvin Klein, Gucci, Mui Mui, & Versace!

Lauryn Hill New Music

 

Singer Lauryn Hill has released new music entitled Neurotic Society.  She recently signed a one million dollar contract with Sony and has been trying to work out her tax woes to avoid jail time.  She posted a link to the new music on her Tumblr page with the following note to her fans.

 

“Hello All:
Here is a link to a piece that I was ‘required’ to release immediately, by virtue of the impending legal deadline. I love being able to reach people directly, but in an ideal scenario, I would not have to rush the release of new music… but the message is still there. In light of Wednesday’s tragic loss (of former label mate Chris Kelly), I am even more pressed to YELL this to a multitude that may not understand the cost of allowing today’s unhealthy paradigms to remain unchecked!

Update: Lauryn Hill was sentenced to 3 months in jail for tax invasion by the residing judge in the case. After her release, she will be confined to months house arrest and followed nine months supervised release.  Hill's attorney says she has paid the majority of the debt.  She has to report to jail by July 8, 2013.  

 

Lauryn Hill told the judge in open court that she was put into a system she didn't know the nature of and had an "economic paradigm" imposed on her.  She says her ordeal is like slavery adding she has sold more than 50 million albums and now she's paying a tax debts……Thoughts????

Robyn Lawley shows her laid back side in the pages for Cosmo Australia April 2013 edition.  The beautiful supermodel took the fashion world by storm becoming a featured plus-sized model on various covers of magazines and international fashion campaigns.  Inside the magazine, Robyn sports looks from her closet with designs from the likes of Sunny Girl and Josh Goot.

 

 

The shoot was photographed by Steven Chee and styled by Nicole Adolphee.  Robyn was also featured as one of our Top Ten Models of 2012 List.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West get intimate on the up and coming issue of L’Officiel Hommes Magazine Spring Issue.  The black-and-white issue, shot by Nick Knight, shows Kanye bare-backed embracing Kim, both in the buff.  The eye brow raising cover is, perhaps, the raciest shots the couple has ever take together.

 

Kim looks to have a look of “after-sex” hair and a look of ecstasy on her face!   Your mind can only guess what the shot implies!

A New-York based transgender woman, Cy Laus, has launched her own lingerie line geared towards transgendered women called Chrysalis.  She maintains that she saw a need for this type of line as transgender lingerie products aren't offered.  

 

She told Lingerie Talk that lots of women have been waiting for a product like hers and she had found no products that catered to transgendered women.  An e-store will follow the product line and now all the designs are available in five different colors!  She is also planning a couture line

Sam Edelman said he had her in mind to star in the campaign about six months.  He says that she is epitomizes the classic American Beauty and she is approachable.  This is the first major fashion campaign of  the model's career.

Beyonce is marking the countdown of her XVLII Super Bowl Performance which happens on Sunday, February 3, 2013, with a release of a short behind-the-scenes video.  The black-and-white video shows her and her legions of dancers gyrating and practicing for the highly anticipated show.

 

After she received much criticism for her Obama Inauguration Lip-Syncing situation.  Reports say she wants more than ever to prove them wrong.  She will be performing in an 8-minute set on a more than $600,000 set!  Will you be watching?

 

 

Update:  Beyonce held a press conference today for her up-and-coming Super Bowl Half-Time show and the first thing she did was sing The National Anthem Live to put the haters to rest!  She also answered questions about the incident, Blue Ivy and more!  She says that she is a perfectionist and didn't have enough time to practice with the Marine Band and didn't want to take a chance!
