If you didn't think actor, Ryan Gosling was hot or sexy, you will at least give him credit for being a "hero". Yesterday, he saved a British journalist, Laurie Penny life literally and not in a movie. He prevented her from getting by a car. The woman took to her twitter account and wrote:
"I literally, LITERALLY just got saved from a car by Ryan Gosling. Literally. That actually just happened." She continued, "I was crossing 6th avenue in a new pink wig. Not looking the right way because I am from London. Ryan Gosling grabbed me away from a taxi."
“I don’t believe that the fact that A-list celebrities occasionally act like human beings is in itself news” — then points out how messed-up American priorities are.
“Americans are very strange. They can and do hyperventilate about the most everyday happenings as if they are the most important thing in the world, and then they act completely normal when public conversations are had about war on Iran and war on women’s bodies and when Rick Santorum is considered a serious presidential candidate. The real heroes I’ve met in America are risking everything to make sure that the United States doesn’t slide further into bigotry, inequality and violence whilst everyone is distracted by the everyday doings of celebrities.”
