She told the magazine that when she dated Justin Bieber she wasn't distracted by all the media attention, which she was used too. She adds that love is normal and she believe's in it and will never grow out of it. Selena and Justin have since broken up and called it quits for good. Selena Gomez Goes Beep Beep for her brand new self-titled scent. She has slowly grown up right before our eyes and probably has done her sexiest piece of work yet for her fragrance. She has been working on promotions for the fragrance since December 2011 and the fragrance is about feminine,sensuality. The singer/actor posed in purple water because she says she wanted it to look like she was swimming in her fragrance. She wore a Maria Lucia Hohan dress that flowed perfectly in the water. The first round of photos for the campaign were shot in Smashbox in Holywood, CA. She even asked her fans for their input on the fragrance and they chose rasberry, chocolate, and vanilla!

Selena Gomez is not a Disney kid anymore. She has grown up right before our very eyes. Selena is showing her grown-up side as she posed for an Elle spread for July 2012. In the magazine, Selena talks growing up poor and Justin Bieber:
On Bieber renting out LA's Staples Center for a private screening of Titanic: "If I'll share anything with you, it's that he really is a hopeless romantic. I had just mentioned it in the car – all I said is that I really want to see Titanic again, and then."
On growing up poor: "I can remember about seven times when our car got stuck on the highway because we'd run out of gas money." Still her mother, "saved up to take me to concerts. She took me to museums, aquariums, to teach me about the world, about what's real."
On Disney: "Disney is a machine, so people automatically assume that you can't work for the channel unless you act and sing and dance and sign up for all that. That's absolutely not true. I always did everything the way I wanted to do it."
On her movie offers: "I get offered the teenybopper movies, and I've done that. I haven't done a mega-hundred-billion-dollar Transformers movie, but that's not what I want to do either."
On seeing Jennifer Lopez in Selena at age five: "I made a bustier out of a bathing suit that I dyed black. I put glue and glitter all over it and I wouldn't take it off."

Selena Gomez Vanessa Hudgens: Interview Spring Breakin
Spring Breakers will be coming to a theater near you and the cast sat down for an interwiew with Interview Magazine. The movie is written and directed by Harmony Korine. It is a very adult role for former Disney's Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgen and has its own share of violence, sex, and drugs. The foursome stars Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson, and Rachael Korine.
Selena said of the role:
"I was getting kind of repetitive in terms of the roles I was picking, and I really wanted to do something that was completely different," she says. "It was a mark thing for me—like, ‘This is what I want to be doing.' I want to be taking myself seriously as an actress, and this was definitely a stretch." She adds: "I mean, I'd never smoked a cigarette before in my entire life. It was really funny—they had to show me how to do it."

The movie is set to come out next year. A 3-minute preview was released at Cannes movie festival.
