Katie Holmes Seeing C- My Fabulous Style

 

 

Katie Holmes shows her chic side as she posed for C Magazine.  Katie gave the interview just one day before the split between she and then husband Tom Cruise.  The actress covers the magazine's September 2012 issue.  She told the magazine:

 

"I'm ready to take on some more challenging roles," she told the magazine (via E! Online). "I feel like I worked so much at such a young age that I really wanted to have life experiences. I feel more balanced and like I have more to bring to the table. I always felt like I wanted to catch up [in my personal life] to what I was doing [in my career]."

 

The editor of the magazine says:

 

“Going back over the tapes, there were signs: Holmes was certainly very aware of herself, laying a couple cards on the table but never showing her whole hand,” McKinnon wrote. “Most noticeably, the one name decisively absent from her lexicon: Tom Cruise. She never actually refers to him by name over pages and pages of transcription.”

Adriana Lima is one of the top supermodels in the game.  She is currently pregnant with her second child, but that hasn't stopped her posing while pregnant for Pirelli Calendar 2013.  Vanity Fair Italia has published some behind-the-scenes photos of the photoshoot, which was shot by Steve McCurry.  Lima has become the first woman to be shown with a visible pregnant tummy for the Pirelli calendar.

Victoria Secret is known for having some of the most beautiful women in the women with the most amazing bodies.  It seems they may have made a Photoshop oopsie as they took out parts of model a model’s inner thighs.  Photoshot Disasters spotted the pic, which has smaller thumbnails posted around the main picture.  The photo was posted on the Facebook page the lingerie giant and garnered plenty of comments from users.

Maria Sharapova: WINNING

 

 

Russia's Maria Sharapova won the French Open to complete her career grand slam.  Saturday, she beat out Italy's, Sara Errani,  6-3, 6-2, in the final at Roland Garras.  Maria already is a big name in tennis and has reached a fair amount of fame outside of tennis.  She will officially be the No. 1 women's tennis player in the world.  The tennis player was elated once she realized she had succeeded.  She dropped to her knees and put her head in her hands, eventually looking upward to the sky!  Congrats from My Fabulous Style.

Yesterday was a rare event……The Transit of Venus.  The next time it will occur is in the year 2117.  Skygazers and astronomy lovers alike grabbed their telescopes and solar shades to get a glimpse of the once in a lifetime event.  The Transit of Venus occurs when Venus moves around the Earth and its closest star, making the sun appear to have been punctured by a small dot.  It was visible to most around the world.  Take a look at some of the shots from the occasion!

"Snow White and the Huntsman" powered its way to the box office taking the number one spot raking in $56.3 million dollars.  This is probably making Universal Studios smile as they have not been having great luck with two previous box office duds, "The-Five Year Engagement" and "Battleship."  Will Smith's "Men In Black 3" came in at second and "The Avengers" came in third.

Zombie Apolcalypse: Man Who Ate Roommates Brains Make Previous Facebook Comments

 

 

 

In the cases of cannibalism that have been cropping up this past week, the Kenyan student who is accused of killing and eating his roommates brains and heart previously made comments on Facebook about "mass human sacrifices".  As details continue to emerge about the case, many people have been to obsess about whether there is a so-called "Zombie Apocalypse."   The CDC has denied existence of Zombies.
