Tia And Tamera Tell It Like It Is Ustream
Reality TV is rapidly becoming the new norm for television programming. Reality TV gives viewers an inside look into the lives of your favorite and not so favorite people/celebrities. Tia and Tamera (Sister Sister) are in season 2 of their reality show on The Style Network. We recently got a chance to talk to the sister team about marriage, life, motherhood, and building their brand. As a sister team at My Fabulous Style, it was great getting input from one of our favorite sister teams.
Tamera says the best thing about working with her sister Tia is "that it does not feel like work and they just have fun." The sister duo admit there are times when they may be annoyed with each other but they work through it. Tia says "working with her sister is natural" although shutting off differences and just going to work can be hard. Tia and Tamera tell us they have sustained a successful sibling relationships through respect and never going to bed angry.
Tia also shared the fact that she has received lots of love and support from fans following some negative comments about her son Cree. Tia says unfortunately, we don't live in a perfect world and being positive is a choice. The twins assert that focusing on the positive makes you happier. Tamera tells us that in the future she ultimately wants to produce films, continue acting, and build a franchise with sister Tia.
The stars of Tia and Tamera talked about reality shows and marriages. Tia says she understands that relationships can deteriorate after being on reality TV. Tia notes that the cameras are always around but at the end of the day "the show is the show" and you need to be solid in your marriage. The twins also made it clear that they do not want their husbands showcased on the show. Tia maintains that her marriage is very important to her and she does not want anything getting in the way of it. Tamera says she and her husband find balance because you can't have it all on television. They make sure they have their private moments without the camera.
